About Us

Our founder, Rae, knows firsthand how stressful moving can be, especially when it comes to getting that bond back. With a background in Motel Housekeeping and Property Management, she quickly realised there was a serious shortage of bond cleaners who could deliver the level of excellence tenants and property managers truly needed.

Drawing on her unique skill set, Rae created Happy Burrow Cleaning with one clear purpose: to take the pressure off tenants and provide property managers with absolute confidence. She understands the stress of moving and is determined to make the process smoother with bond cleans that go above and beyond in quality and consistency.

 

And because every great business deserves a touch of personality, our mascot Sparkles the Dust Bunny embodies Rae’s love for animals, especially her favourite, rabbits. Reminding us that care, detail, and a little heart are at the centre of everything we do.

 

Rae’s very first hire was Alex, a widower searching for flexible work that allowed him to be there for his three children during school hours. But while sweeping away dust bunnies, they both got a little swept off their feet, and are now happily married. Alex is still an employee in the business, though working within school hours is no longer a necessity with Rae to help around the burrow with the kids.
